On Veterans Day it is fitting to let our veterans speak.

So here’s a link to the Veterans For Peace website and a post that calls for the ringing of bells at 11 am on November 11, 2011 in honor of the original Armistice Day, Nov. 11th, 1918, that brought an end to World War I.

The VFP post also includes a video of Liam Clancy singing the moving anti-war song “And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda.”
